True Learning

Down around my feet
shoes with strings neatly tied
such nice and symetric bows
how did they get there, you say?
If only I could remember
it must have happened earlier
in the morning when the shoes went on
but try as I can I can't remember
or even describe the process
so complicated and confusing
surely it's something ingrained
deep into the ruts of my mind.

Re: True Learning

I know all to well what you mean.  I often delve deep inside my mind and dig up old memories, names, situations, seasons, and everything else in between.  It's wonderfully amazing how we can recall certain things in our lives but sometimes the most simplest things leave us dumbfounded.

Re: True Learning

Yes, Zantos... back to those "selective" filters!  Actually, it has to do with turning short-term memory into long-term with repeated potentiations etc.  Very interesting brain functions...

Thanks for your reply!
