The value of failure

Nothing works immediately
perfectly, that is...
requiring careful review,
good data, improvements
forward movement
where problems only dictate
areas needing fixing
better fit to customers
from enlightened management
not stopped
when things don't work
it's just the expected
first step...

It's been said that no success is achieved without repeated failure: indeed, that failure is the path to success.  So people need to think in terms of continual improvement versus arriving at perfection.
