Failitate don't Dictate

Too often, religion is an excercise in dictating: what you're to do and think.  Authority (presumably straight from God) knows what's best.  Your job is to listen dutifully, salute, and go do what you're told.

Unfortunately, that prescription just doesn't work.  Especially when we're talking about people using their God-given talents to the glory of the Creator, centralized constraints usually just keep people immobile.

What's really needed are religious leaders who view their main job as HELPING PEOPLE USE THEIR TALENTS TO THE GLORY OF GOD!

That's a lot different that "deffending the status-quo."

Also, a lot harder than just getting up and giving a boring lecture.
